My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lilly is a sweet, charming girl who loves to cuddle with you on the couch, lay at your feet while working at your desk, and gently sleep the night away safe and sound by your side. She loves nothing better than snuggling with her person, but also has a fun and playful side. Lilly was rescued from a Sacramento shelter, tossed aside by her previous owner after what we believe had been a career of producing pups. At about seven years old she was no longer of value to them, so was dumped with the likelihood she would not be adopted. Lilly lived her previous life outdoors, but has quickly learned to be a perfect house member. Oh, and she can't see. Yes, Lilly is blind but that doesn't hold her back. She easily finds her way around her foster home and has even mastered the doggie door. She walks nicely on a leash, enjoys rides in the car, and playing with squeaky toys. Because Lilly was an outdoor only dog we would like to find a home where someone is home most of the time to give her all of the attention she deserves. She would do best with adults/older children and as the only dog or possibly one other friendly dog. Please contact Sharilyn at sharilync@comcast.net for more information about Lilly.
