My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

United we stand, divided we fall. If there were truer a motto I couldn’t tell you. My little Turtle and I have had quite a run together. Been around the bases and sliding into home. Only problem is, we don’t have a home to call our own! Now as long as we have each other we will be just fine, but we are both getting up in years and wouldn’t mind having a stretch of the easy road. I would have her tell you herself, but she doesn’t hear & can't see so well, so she always follows my lead. Kids 12+ would be best for us since they know how to be gentle and respectful with senior folks like us. We don’t mind cats and, frankly, I don’t have the energy for reindeer games anymore. We are both crate trained and love to snuggle up together. We get along with other dogs, but we really enjoy our own company. I can speak for Turtle when I say we have been on an extended honeymoon, and we want to share the love we have for each other with a loving family. 8 years old- 55lbs/36lbs. Our adoption fee is $160 and includes: spay/neuter, microchip, reduced cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.
