Darla was born 1-1-2013. She was saved from a high kill shelter in VA. She is very sweet and personable. She is good with other dogs. She does like to chase cats IF they will run. She has been exposed to farm animals and she gets along great with them. She weighs around 45 pounds and has a beautiful shiny black and tan coat. If you love the spirit of a hound dog then Darla is for you. She loves crashing on the couch with her human to watch TV. On the flip side if her human wanted to go run a marathon she would be right there beside them. She is adaptable and adjusts to her human's activity level. She is crate trained, and would do best in a home with a fenced yard or an invisible fencing system. Hounds do like to roam it is their nature.

She will go to her new home current on shots, deworming, microchipped and spayed. We offer access to discounted pet health insurance if the adopter wishes to take advantage of it.
