My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Roxy! She is a beautiful fawn and white bulldog, who weighs about 43 pounds. She was an owner surrender, and her age is estimated to be around 4 years old.

Roxy is very laid back, so she doesn’t play too much. She really likes to go for walks, and walks well on a leash – she is not a speed demon. Roxy is house trained; however she does have some accidents, which can be associated with territorial marking. She has done very well being gated into her foster mom’s kitchen while she’s at work without any accidents.

Roxy is sweet as can be, but is a bit protective of her home and surroundings. She doesn’t like to be startled by people “barging in” unannounced. Roxy likes kids, but is best to be supervised around them. Because of this and the protectiveness, we are asking that she only goes to a home with kids 8 years old and up. She doesn’t mind other dogs, but is not overly friendly with them either – mostly she ignores them.

Roxy loves her people, and likes to sit on your lap or next to you for a bit – then it’s off to the couch for a snooze! She prefers to sleep in the same room with you - she likes to start in your bed, but will end up on the floor in her dog bed.

Roxy has been spayed, had some teeth extracted, and had surgery for stenotic nares (to help with her breathing). She is a healthy bulldog, and currently does not have any ongoing medical needs.

Please consider opening up your heart and giving Roxy her loving furever home!
