My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ace is a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix that we have very quickly fallen in love with. We rescued him from euthanasia last week and now that we've gotten to know him, we know truly what a huge loss it would have been if he hadn't made it out. Ace is a smaller guy, weighing 40-45 pounds and we LOVE his personality! He is a very calm dog that loves to go for walks, feel the sun on his face, listen to the birds and smell the fresh air. We can understand why Ace lives every moment with gratitude. Before entering the shelter where he almost lost his life, Ace was seized by animal control from his owners due to neglect. They left him chained outside in the middle of some very cold winter weather with no shelter to protect him from the elements. We can't imagine how much he suffered being alone in the cold, all we can do now is our very best to make his future a much brighter one. Ace loves car rides and rolls around in the backseat with delight, sometimes looking out the window at the passing cars. He is a gorgeous, truly unique dog with one icy blue colored eye and one brown. He loves bones and will parade around showing it to everyone with delight. Ace is a rare find and truly wonderful dog that is polite, loving and ready for a family to spoil him rotten!
