Butterscotch is a male red tabby domestic shorthair.

Butterscotch is a charming, middle-aged gentleman whose easy-going and kind personality serves him well as the “patriarch” of the Purple Room. He is the first to greet new feline roommates, and his friendly nature has helped many other kitties come out of their shells. Butterscotch is equally receptive to human visitors, as well, and is quick to welcome you to the Purple Room with head butts and purrs. Butterscotch didn’t have the easiest life before he came to Animal House, but that hasn’t affected his sweet personality one tiny bit. He would make a loving addition to almost any home.
