Starr's Story...
Starr is such a little beauty! She has a white chest, white on her face, all white feet, a tiny white tip of her tail, and a faint white line on her head. What a looker! She was born (one of twelve) at her foster home on 2/15/14, after her mama was found roaming around Poplar Bluff with another pregnant dog, begging for scraps and shelter. Mama is a reddish brown hound of some sort, not sure about the daddy. She sleeps through the night, loves her crate, is pretty quiet and hasn't had an accident in her crate since recently! She already knows some words and she are not afraid of big dogs! Starr, and her eleven siblings, will be available for adoption on April 11, 2014.

Starr is being fostered in ST LOUIS, MISSOURI but transportation to the New England area is available thru ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT for an additional $125. Transportation to the Chicago area available on a limited basis for $125

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Starr, a ST LOUIS Hound (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog for sale in ST LOUIS, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in ST LOUIS.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in ST LOUIS already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a ST LOUIS breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in ST LOUIS paves the way for another one to be saved.
