My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Julio is a stunning looking cat. He has shiny jet black medium hair and his front paws are declawed. He is quiet and keeps to himself. Perhaps he is a little less modest in a home atmosphere but he does not seem like much of a trouble-maker in general.

The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904 to protect the city's working horses. Today, its clinic and Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center looks after the health and emotional well-being of every adoption animal.

HSNY is a non-kill shelter. Every animal is micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and they offer FREE vet care for the first 3 weeks after adoption. Our one and only location is: 306 East 59th Street (between 1st & 2nd Avenues) in Manhattan. Our adoption hours are 10:30AM - 4:00PM, 7 days a week.
