Loverboy's Story...
I am an Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix puppy. I was a surprise baby here at Dream Power, since no one knew my momma was pregnant when she initially got transferred in. I was ill when I was born, so I wasn't ready to find my forever home. I am feeling much better and have been given the all clear by the vet. I haven't had much socialization since I have been sick, so I will definitely need training and lots of play dates with other animals and kids. I am very affectionate though and still very much puppy. Are you my forever family? If you would like to adopt, please fill out an application at www.dreampoweranimalrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Loverboy, a Colorado Springs Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
