Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zephyr is a shy smaller white pittie. He is the sweetest little thing and is working hard to overcome his fears, learn to live in a home and trust people. Zephyr is social with other dogs!
Zephyr has successfully completed heart worm treatment while in foster care with Handsome Dan's Rescue, sponsored by his guardian angels, Patty and Joe Defee! We are forever grateful to them! He is now heart worm free!!
We have named him Zephyr and have promised him that we will be with him, every step of the way, until he is adopted. "While assisting on a dog fighting case, the Humane Society of the United States was contacted by a local animal control agency for assistance with three dogs who were surrendered from a suspected neglect case. The dogs were in need of extensive medical care, so the animal control agency reached out to the HSUS Animal Rescue Team for assistance. The dogs were later transferred to the HSUS for medical treatment. Thanks to this collaborative effort, the dogs are in the care of the HSUS and headed for placement with some of our amazing Dog fighting Rescue Coalition placement partners."
Zephyr's adoption donation is $200. If you would like to meet Zephyr or be considered to adopt this very special boy, please go to http://www.handsomedansrescue.org/#!adoptionapp/cvej to fill out our adoption application.
