Kai's Story...
Take Me Home received a desperate call from another rescue asking for help with a litter of 10 puppies that had been left at a local vets office. TMH could not turn their backs on sweet homeless puppies, so we immediately rescued four of the pups and they were named Lloyd, Kai, Cole and Zane by a 7 year old boy who loves the TV show, Ninjago. The little ninja pups are delightful in every way. They are approximately 10-11 weeks old, all males and as sweet as they can be. They love playing with their foster siblings, both two and four legged.

We were told the mother of the pups was a boxer, and we think the father was a pit or lab mix of some kind, but we do not know anything for sure, except that they are darn cute little guys.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kai, a Santa Monica Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
