This sweet fun gal need a foster or home by end of March

Twilight. She is almost two years old, Lab mix. She is a very smart & sweet puppy. She knows many commands such as, sit, stay, down, & come. She has learned to pay attention with a snap of the fingers and I taught her to lay down with the command “Liaci” (lie-e-c) (Italian for lay, because “lay” is to audibly similar to “stay”) She loves to run, fetch, hike, and with a loving coax she will swim to go get her favorite ball.

She is an independent puppy but has a simultaneous need to be loved & please her owner. She currently lives with two other dogs, so she is used to being around other animals. She does have a drive to be the alpha dog in the pack so other young, high energy dogs are best and non alpha best males

She will be great with someone who has the time & interest in exercising with her & taking her out on trips like hiking & camping. She rides in my jeep & loves it when we have the top down. I take her out for runs weekly while I ride my bike & she runs beside me.

I have had Twilight since she was about 6 weeks old & I have taught her all she knows. She has experienced more than most dogs in the last 1.5 years with regards to the outdoors. New adventures can make her a bit nervous but as long as you sweet talk her & tell her its okay, she will put her trust in you.

This is how I taught her to swim & fetch. Her main focus is pleasing her owner and she will trust you to guide her in the right direction. She is great with kids, but with the puppy mentality and playfulness she doesn’t always know her own strength so older well behaved non rough housing kids if any at home best or one older girl looking for a best buddy

Twilight is also housebroken & crate trained. She loves to chew so chew toys are a must. She has many toys, collars, leashes, etc which will be yours to keep her happy.

Twilight will be spayed before adoption hopefully this week if we can get her in then ready this weekend or next weekend
I will see if I can take better pics and videos of her as well

Looking for a dog experienced family that has time for her and is active one or two older kids that are fun and respectful to animals are fine prefer over 10 yrs
