My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Johnny just graduated from his SECOND obedience class! He went to the special "For Pitty's Sake" class at Sacramento SPCA and passed with flying colors. Rumor has it that he was the mellowest guy there. Lately, Johnny has been getting out to the lake with his foster pops and has been loving house boating and water activities. He loves to swim and keeps trying to "rescue" his two-legged friends when they fall off the paddle boards!

He is just the best all-around boy - loving, cuddly, active, athletic, well-mannered, and just a big ol' love bug! Jace is an awesome ambassador for the pittie/staffie/american bully mix dogs. He just loves everyone and has nothing but joy and positive energy to give out. We recently had him at a fundraiser with lots of other dogs and people around, he was absolutely fantastic!

Now, if you are a lizard or a squirrel or a kittie, Johnny may feel a little differently about you. He does have a strong desire to chase tiny critters, furry or not, if they are skittering away from him. Foster mom says, "I can watch Johnny out in the yard and learn where, exactly, he has ever seen a lizard out there. Each time he goes out, many times a day, he goes looking in each of those spots, just in case there might be another lizard there!"

Johnny gets along great with dogs of all genders, sizes, and ages. He is playful so especially enjoys other dogs who are up for a good romp with him. If they are not, he just leaves them along and wanders off to entertain himself. He is crate trained and this will easily transition to house trained with some careful attention and training during the transition to his new home.
