Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spot is looking for a new family to call his own. This handsome 2 year old Lemon Beagle mix lost his home through no fault of his own. He was owned by an older couple, and the wife recently passed away. The husband is selling the home, downsizing to an apartment, and unfortunately Spot cannot go. We are fostering Spot, but with no available places in anyone's home, he is in boarding for the time being. The staff at the facility is wonderful to him, but for a dog who lived his entire life outside in a large, fenced yard living most of the day in a kennel is a tough transition. At 45 lbs and 2 years old, he is a nice medium sized dog. He has lived outside, but is very calm and could probably become an inside dog very easily. Spot spent the day recently at an adoption event at Pet Smart. He was excellent around many unknown, different dogs. Coming in contact with lots of people young and old was no problem. He enjoyed the attention and was great with everyone. He did not bark and stayed quietly in his crate when needed. Spot would make a wonderful family pet. At the age of 2, he is past the jumpy, hyper puppy stage, but young enough to keep up with an active family. Please consider him as you are searching for your new pet. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
