My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Figaro, Figaro, Figaro! This young male dog has it all. Calm, sweet disposition? Check! Likes other dogs? Check! Passed his cat test with flying colors? Check! Winning, snaggle-toothed grin? Check, check, and check. Figaro is easy on leash, turning frequently to make eye contact and show his appreciation for the outing as he explores the world by your side. And you won’t find a cuddlier companion. He has quickly become a favorite of volunteers and staff members alike. He is a really special dog!

Figaro has a congenital condition and an old injury that are causing some problems in his hind quarters. He gets around fine but will need surgery to lead a full and active life free of pain. Figaro has been seen by an orthopedic specialist, and the good news is his prognosis following surgery is very good! Figaro is an exceptionally good-natured dog who will be a wonderful addition to the family that opens their heart to him; we know he'll return your love many times over!
