Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tink is a special dog. She has an appealing mature energy and a playful enthusiasm for life that is infectious. Tink checks in with her volunteer handlers regularly to show how grateful she is to be out of her kennel and enjoying some play time or a walk. Did we mention Tink loves toys? She surely does and will run around so happily with a toy hanging from her mouth. It is such a pleasure to see her looking so relaxed and care-free. Tink came in looking a bit worn down by her previous circumstance but she has responded to the attention and care of staff and volunteers. She has lost a few pounds and has renewed energy from the activity around her.
Tink has gone on several tandem walks with other shelter dogs and hung out with them in the play room. She’s a polite yet confident dog and will offer some doggie kisses but she’s most interested in showing her fellow canine her toy and running around daring them to chase her.
Tink is attending BADRAP training classes with a volunteer handler and can continue for free after adoption. We want Tink to find a home where she will be cared for and appreciated for her “inner Tinkness” which is an expression of her charm. She will make someone a lovely companion.
