My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sampson, here, strong and handsome, just like in the story! I'm a blue-eyed angel with a great personality and even better house manners. Looking for an easy-breezy companion who just wants to be your best friend? That's ME!!! I'm crate and house trained, walk like a dream on leash, and can lounge with the best of them. I'm a friendly fella and will just wander over to say hi!, no drama about it. I do like people--they're interestin' folk, you know? But I also am content to just hang with my peeps, chillin' in the shade.

I came into rescue from NC along with another Dane, and am in a foster home with small and large dogs. I like dogs who don't get in my face, from Chihuahua to Dane, if you're calm and friendly, so am I. My ears were so filled with gunk, everyone thought I was deaf, but as we cleaned out my ears and kept them clean, lo and behold, i can hear just fine! It's obvious that I had a tough life and was confined for much of it. My callouses will take time to heal, but I've already moved on to a better life and my heart is ready for my new family. Are you ready for me? Couldn't ask for an easier, sweeter boy than me!! (But ask for ME because I'm ready!!! I am! for you!)
