My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hoss is a big milk chocolate hunk of love. He is about 3 years of age, looks like a Lab/Great Dane cross and he weighs 78 lbs., but looks a lot larger than that. He has a very large head and big feet. Hoss is a very obedient boy. He sits at your feet to be petted or to get a yummmmy treat that he takes ever so gently. Hoss is very calm and gentle natured. His favorite activity is to play fetch and squeak the ball a few times to make noise. He also likes just hanging out with his foster family and being a part of what is going on. Hoss loves going for walks, but he does need practice walking on lead as he pulls and a little practice does make perfect. Hoss is a smart boy and learns quickly. He is good with cats and other dogs, but not fond of unaltered males. He is crate trained and loves to get a Kong with frozen treats in it to help him pass the time as he waits for his people to return. Hoss came to Lucky Lab Rescue heartworm positive and he has been treated. He also has buckshot from a shotgun wound in his right ear flap. If only dogs could talk, Hoss would have a story to tell! This big boy is neutered, current on vaccinations including rabies, micro-chipped and has had flea/tick preventative. He is also kept on heartworm preventive.
