Weaver is a male Yorkshire Terrier approximately 3 years in age. He is purebred although we do not have papers. Weaver is very tiny, weighing only 6 pounds full grown. He has a silky, non-shedding coat and has been professionally groomed. Weaver is a true delight. He is excellent inside the home and is housebroken. Weaver loves to cuddle and is the ultimate lap dog. He will rest in your lap contentedly for hours. He adores attention and wants to be snuggled close. When you sit down, Weaver is right there asking to be picked up. Once you settle him in your lap, he rolls onto his back and will fall asleep while you rub his belly. Weaver will also lay by your feet if you don't want a lap buddy right at that moment. He is such a love and warms the heart of anyone he meets. Weaver is excellent with other dogs and although he does not play, he is a great companion. He is confident and not afraid of any dog, big or small. He will muscle his way to the head of the crowd to get his share of treats if they are being given out. It is truly adorable because he is so tiny. Weaver walks beautifully on leash without pulling and has wonderful manners out in public. He rides nicely in the car and loves to be your co-pilot while running errands or maybe while out for a relaxing picnic in the park. Weaver is a wonderful dog, sweet, mellow, gentle and very affectionate. He fits nicely in your arms and once you hold him you won't want to let him go. Amazingly enough, Weaver came into one of the highest volume/high kill shelters in the area as a stray. He appeared to be quite neglected, but we could see what a classy gentleman he was under all the matted fur. This little guy deserves to be pampered, coddled, and kept safe. Weaver is looking for his new forever home today!
Weaver’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Weaver is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Carol is ready for his forever home.
