My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Quinn! This girl is one of the best companions you could ever ask for. Quinn was originally brought to the shelter in February of 2012 as a 6 week old puppy with her sister because the momma dog had passed away. She was quickly adopted, but came back recently because the family decided they didn’t have time for her. Despite her circumstances, this sweet thing is still the most vivacious, happy dog you will ever meet! She absolutely loves playing with other dogs and, although a little shy at first, quickly bonds with her people. Past her puppy stage, Quinn has the energy to be a superb running buddy while, at the same time, is happy to lay around a cuddle after a day of play! This girl has absolutely loved just about every dog she has met and lives peacefully in a household run by cats. She even had four tiny foster siblings (a litter of 6 week kittens!) that were always playing with her, when they weren't trying to nurse on her, that is!

At around 2 years old and just under 50 pounds, Quinn would be ideal for a quiet household. She would be a great playmate for another dog or even a cat! I always feel secure with her in the house because, despite her sweet demeanor, she is very alert and has the bark of an 80 pound dog (ONLY) when she senses someone approaching the house. Quinn is already housebroken, kennel-trained, and knows basic commands. She is always ready to learn more and really just wants to please. Quinn is the VERY first foster dog that I have allowed free roam in my house 24/7. This girl is never too demanding of your attention and will happily lay in the room while you do your work, but give her any indication that it is petting time and she will be at your feet in a heartbeat! Quinn would love to meet you today!

Quinn is currently in foster care so, if interested, email us today!

All Dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
