My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB October 18, 2011.

Smuckers is an incredibly sweet boy! He is very curious and playful. He likes to be around you always, watching what you are doing, sometimes trying to "help." You'll always find him sitting near you. He likes to be your buddy, not your baby, which is what the coolest cats are like! Having said that, he does welcome cuddles and petting, and sometimes comes to you for some! When he is in the mood to be petted he will roll around and let you even rub his belly (which he likes), but he doesn't like his paws to be touched.

If you pick up one of his toys his eyes light up and he is instantly ready to play with you! Sometimes he'll even bring the toy to you. Sometimes his foster family finds miscellaneous objects in his food bowl: it seems like he finds things that he enjoyed playing with and likes to keep them safe for himself. It's pretty funny when you go to feed him and he's standing by a bottle cap in his bowl, looking up at you proudly.

He also likes playing tag. You pretend to chase him and he'll run away, then he'll come and sneak up on you or chase you in jest. He can play this until you get bored! He can nip if he is treated like a toy, so he's probably suited to a home without small children. Smuckers is a great cat with bundles of personality and will make a very rewarding pet.
