Mickey is a five year old Shih Tzu - Maltese mix whose older owner could not get him out for regular exercise, or afford regular vet care and grooming. He has lived in an apartment, but would love a yard to play in -- and maybe some kids to play with. He loved the owner's many grandchildren. When I met Mickey he was excited and friendly, but since leaving the security of his home, he is timid and scared. He needs someone who can help him come out of his shell and feel secure again.
