IDGSR WELCOMES Jenny INTO THE RESCUE!!!!

Jenny comes to us via a owner surrender, she was found by a lovely lady and fully vetted in hopes she could find her a home, but in the mean time Jenny stayed with her, and the loving care she gave her, as well as Jenny was able to go to obedience training with IDGSR's Trainer.

Jenny is excellent in the home, well behaved, walks great on a leash, has great house and doggie manners, She is great with children, other dogs and CATS!!!

Jenny is approx. 4 yrs. old and a total dollbaby. All she wants to do is give love and feel it in return.

Jenny is a easy going dog and will make an excellent companion for some family.

We were told she is a Shepherd/Rottweiler/Hound Mix, but without any proof or DNA test done we do not know for sure.

Either way there is no dispute about Jenny's personality, she is a sweetheart and gentle girl.

IS HOUSEBROKEN AND CRATE TRAINED

DOES NOT JUMP ON FURNITURE

RARELY BARKS, EXCEPT WHEN A STRANGER OR STRANGE DOG APPROACHES THE YARD

LOVES TO CHEW ON NYLABONES, OR HARD BONES

CAN GET VERY EXCITED WHEN MEETING NEW PEOPLE, OR WHEN PLAYING

CAN BE FEARFUL OF LOUD NOISES, OR YELLING

DIGS IN DIRT FOR COMFORT, TO BURY LARGE TREATS, AND TO HUNT FOR CRITTERS

IS RESPECTFUL OF FENCES, (PET) GATES

SHE WILL:

LIE DOWN (point down and say "down")

SHAKE HANDS ("shake")

WAIT BEFORE GOING THRU DOOR OR GATE WHEN GIVEN THE HAND AND VOICE COMMAND ("wait")

SIT WHEN HER FOOD IS PUT BEFORE HER ("sit")

STAY IN HER CRATE AT NIGHT QUIETLY

HAS BASIC LEASH TRAINING - WALKS WITHOUT PULLING, BUT WALKS AHEAD OF PERSON HOLDING LEASH

Each dog's adoption donation varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (BABY)
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (ADULT)
$150 for dogs over 7 (SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing & monthly preventative and have been spayed or neutered.

Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
