Galaxy's Story...
Hi my name is GALAXY and I am a five year old HANDSOME TUXEDO boy. Once you’ve earned my trust, I will develop a very SPECIAL LOVING BOND with you. And when that happens, I will become the ULTIMATE LAP CAT who will spend every minute with you from your morning coffee to bedtime CUDDLING. Then in bed, I will SNUGGLE in the crook of your neck and fall fast asleep. I really am a very LOVABLE and a very SPECIAL cat just needing a bit of time to settle in to a new home. If you’ve had cats before and want to feel the joy and satisfaction of earning a cat’s trust, then I’m the kitty for you. I would do best as your one and only so I don’t have to share you or my toys with anyone! I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Galaxy, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
