My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Dobby, a 2 year old Chinese Crested pup living the good life with my foster mom in the Chinatown area of Philadelphia. I didn't know much about being a family dog when I first arrived, but I've been learning! I have a great wardrobe to keep me warm while I'm learning all about the outdoors. Speaking of the outdoors, did you know that's where dogs go potty? I never knew, but I'm getting really good at it - and I earn lots of treats in the process! When I'm not sniffing trees I like to nap on Mom's lap. She combs my long hair and kisses my head - that's the best. I just love being cuddled! If Mom is gone, I wait for her in my house - she calls it a crate. I'd rather be in her arms, but the crate is cozy, too, and my green sock monkey is in there.

Mom tells me that my forever family is waiting, so I have to master my dog skills. Don't worry, future family, I'm working hard to be a great boy for you! I don't mind cats or other dogs, big and little - but sometimes I get scared when the big dogs come close to me. That's when I jump up into Mom's arms for safety. She says I'm a scaredy-dog. I don't know about all that. I just know that I'm only ten pounds, and it's a big world out there. Can you help me figure it out?
