Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Doug and Susan are a pair of adorable yet shy one-year-old rat terrier siblings looking for a loving guardian.
We don’t what kind of situation Doug and Susan came from, but they are much more trusting of other dogs than they are of people. Doug is nine pounds and Susan is only seven pounds. They were turned into Chicago Animal Care and Control by their family. I’m assuming the family had a lot of dogs and didn’t spend much time socialized them with people.
So, Doug and Susan are looking for a patient dog-lover to take them under their wing for training to boost their confidence and a lot of love. They groom each other, snuggle together, and never let each other out of view.
Doug and Susan are healthy, de-wormed, vaccinated, and will be micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and spayed/neutered upon adoption. Their adoption fee of $200 each benefits Famous Fido’s Rescue Group. To meet and possibly adopt or foster them, please fill in the adoption application at http://famousfidorescue.com/AdoptionApplication.html and follow up by contacting Gloria at fido@famousfidorescue.com or 773-907-0305. The rescue has dogs of all sizes and ages looking for loving guardians. They spend their days at 5430 N. Clark Street in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. Make an appointment to stop in and meet some of these lovable souls.
