Slick (es)'s Story...
These little cutie pies were turned in at a kill shelter when they were only 5 weeks old, if you can imagine! We are guessing they're little corgie spaniel mixes with shiny fur. They are about 9 weeks old (on 3/22) and should only grow to be smaller medium size dogs. They've been spayed, neutered and are up to date on vaccines. They'll be able to go to their new homes on March 29th! All of the pups are friendly, curious and playful and wonderful with all creatures great and small :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Slick (es), a Harrisonburg Corgi/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Corgi/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Corgi/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
