Olivia's Story...
MEET OLIVIA! Olivia is an owner surrender who is 7 or 8 years old. Her current owner rescued her from a home with an in-home daycare where she was basically banished to the backyard and children were allowed to tease her. Because of that l...ife she required some rehab and is still food aggressive. She has been well behaved with the her owner's nephews but she is not good with smaller dogs. She does well with larger dogs. She loves belly rubs and is house trained and uses a doggy door. She had a dental a year ago and is ready for her Forever Home. Unfortunately her current owner has recently gone through some drastic life changes and can no longer keep her pets. This sweet girl needs love and her Forever! Adoption Fee $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Eagle Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Eagle, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Eagle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eagle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eagle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eagle paves the way for another one to be saved.
