Tom-Tom's Story...
Meet Pearl & Tom-Tom! This bonded pair was surrendered by their owners when they could no longer care for them. Tom-Tom is about 1 1/2 years old and and Pearl is about 2 years old. As you can see, they LOVE each other. They have spent their whole lives with each other, and we definitely can't see them separated. Tom-Tom is the more outgoing of the two, he loves to be pet. His favorite activity is to sit in the window and watch the birds or cuddle next to you on the couch. Pearl is a bit reserved at first, but as soon as you pet her, she turns to butter. She loves a good chin scrub. This pair would be the perfect match for anyone looking for two new wonderful companions.

We Spay/Neuter all of our cats and they receive the necessary medical care including Rabies, Three Distemper vaccines, De-worming, De-fleaing, Microchipping, and Testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Care for Animals is located at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during hospital hours. Our hours are Monday 8-7, Tuesday — Thursday 8-5 and Friday 9-3. We’re also happy to set up weekend appointments.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tom-Tom, a Warwick Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warwick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
