Louie's Story...
LOUIE is ready to find his forever home!

LOUIE looks and feels like a new man! After his makeover Louie doesn't even look like the same dog. This handsome 6 year old, 17 lb, Shih tzu is ready to strut his stuff down the runway. His foster mom cleaned him up and made him look amazing.

Louie has dry eye in his left eye, but it's very manageable. He's 100% house broken and doesn't need to be crated. He does well with other dogs and doesn't acknowledge the cats. Most of all he loves to lay in your lap.

Louie is microchipped, neutered & up to date on his shots & vaccines.

If you'd like to meet this dapper guy go to www.rescueAhart.org to submit an adoption

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Cincinnati Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
