My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE READ THIS PROFILE AND THE REQUESTED CRITERIA BEFORE CALLING OR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION

SAY "HELLO" to WILLOW and IVY.....two very lucky pups who escaped being a hoarder's landscape and found their way to Lhasa Happy Homes. These two girls had lived all their short lives outside, without human touch, without a comfy bed or blankie. They had never walked on a leash, been given a toy to play with or a lap to cuddle in. That has all changed! This is all new to them.....and while Willow is still in awe of it all, we believe she is an old soul and knows what she wants and when she wants it. She is a puppy, but she is very calm and will need time to take in the new world around her. She is a complete love bug, and her favorite pasttime is cuddling with Ivy and/or her human. When she is sitting on your lap, she just snuggles for as long as you'll let her. She does have a voice and is not afraid to use it (but she is not a yappy puppy)!! She tends to bark at men....but she is just a baby and who knows how men affected her prior to coming to us. She is very smart and wants to please, so training will do the trick. Willow is just learning how to be a puppy....she is starting to play with toys and the other dogs...but when she's done, she's done!! She is getting the hang of pp pads, but will need some guidance in this area. She is blossoming everyday and it is a joy to watch. Ivy is a bit independent at times, as she is curious about the world. She likes to explore, run and play chase with the other fosters, but she isn't crazy hyper, she calms down quickly. We're not sure how Ivy was fed, but she always tips her bowl over and eats her kibble from the floor! She also loves to push things around with her nose, including her toys and water bowl! She is PP pad trained for the most part and rarely misses! Ivy is very quiet and enjoys her snuggle, cuddle time! The girls are both getting used to getting attention and being adored dogs...after living in an environment not so condusive to raising puppies. They both need a lot of love, stability, security and socialization to have their best brought out in them! They are just beginning to give kisses and will be totally devoted to their new guardians, as they are to each other. Patience, time and love will be the elements to make these two girls the best companions they can be! Whomever is lucky enough to adopt either or both of these girls will be granted double the love!
