Roxy is a young, curious, and energetic Shih Tzu (possibly a mix?) born in September of 2012. She is already spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date with vaccinations. She is a beige color with beautiful reddish/brown markings and weighs 13 pounds. Roxy is working hard on house training, and is making good progress. She loves to dance on her hind legs and knows how to “sit” when asked. She is excited to get treats and looks forward to eating her meals twice a day. Roxy’s favorite pastimes are playing with toys, going for walks, and playing with her foster sisters. Even though she is very energetic and loves to play, she enjoys sitting by her foster parents and likes lots of petting and attention. We do recommend that her new family take her to training classes to continue her learning good manners and to help her be an obedient girl. Roxy needs a family who will consistently play with her and take her on walks every day. She would do best in a home where someone is home at least part of the day. Roxy gets along well with other dogs and with children. Her adoption fee is $370.00 plus $26.92 sales tax. Roxy's foster parents would like her adoptive home to be within 75 miles of the Twin Cities and would like her new family to bring her to the Shih Tzu Rescue Reunion every year in June.
