Buster's Story...
Buster here! My tail is a waggin' and well I am a pretty happy fellow. I was found out on Sidney Freyburg in the Anna area. A nice famer had me in his barn until the the people at the shelter could come get me. I thought it was a pretty good place, after all I could play with his cows. But alas, I have now come down to the shelter. The people at the shelter are pretty nice. They have given me some food and water. However, it is a loud place and well I would like a place of my own where I could roam. I do have a few teeth problems. Two of my back teeth are fractured so I will need some help with that. However, if you didn't look at my teeth you would never even know that something was wrong, because well I simply don't let it bother me. Any ways, I am now at the shelter so come and visit me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Sidney Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sidney, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sidney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sidney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sidney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sidney paves the way for another one to be saved.
