My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ms Cookie: 3-5 yr old female Blue Point Himalayan

This young lady loves attention. She is very friendly to humans.
Every once in a while is shy with a stranger. Mostly she is an easy-going, nice girl. She also loves her food and has never met a bowl of wet food she didn't like.

Ragdolls Himalayan and Siamese cats are "color pointed" cats. The "points" are the ears, mask, tail and feet. Most common is the brown colored seal pointed cats. Blue pointed is what cat with grey colored points are called. Lilac points are sort like blue with a little mauve thrown in. Flame point have red. All color pointed cats have blue eyes which look great with each pointed color.

Cookie has a soft full coat of creamy white fur. She is comfortable
with brushing. She seems to like all sorts of attention. She has the
round cobby body of a little Himalayan girl, short front to back. She has a classic Himalayan face with the original lower nose.As Himalayans were bred for the show ring, their noses were raised higher and higher til for some it even got up between the eyes.
Cookie is lucky she has a classic face because she has none of the breathing issues that the flatter faced cats have. She is a nice little armful. And indeed she is a lap cat who would probably like to sleep with her human. Look at her big soft beautiful paws..

Her hearing is poor at best and perhaps nonexistent. Sometimes I think she hears a little. This condition doesn't seen to bother her at all. But given this she would rather not be with dogs or children who might come up behind her and startle her. She would be happy to ignore another polite cat but she would also be happy to be the only pet in the home. She is a perfect, easy, quiet, loving companion for someone. Ms. Cookie would be comfortable at home alone part of day as long as her human came home to love her later.

She is a very good-natured cat. She would rather not, however, pose for pictures and turns her head away just as I have a photo lined up.
I will try for more, better pictures.

She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
