My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous gal goes by Goldie :) You might think we named her Goldie because she is a Golden Retriever mix, but it is actually because her eyes are a gorgeous shade of gold, with a hint of green around the iris. Once you stare into her beautiful, sweet eyes, you will be in love! Goldie is adorable, fluffy, eager to please, enthusiastic, loyal, and just wants to have fun by your side. Poor Goldie had heartworms when she came to MAS, but we are happy to say she made it through all of the treatment, is in great health, and will just need a retest in 6 months (10/1/14). This lady has been waiting ever so patiently for a loving person to scoop her up and show her the good life. Fill out on application for this sweetie today!
If interested in adopting, please visit www.masrescue.org and click on "Adopt Here". The adoption fee is $250.00. Please Note: 100% of all the adoption fees collected are used to care for the animals, and pay our ever increasing vet bill. We appreciate your interest in adopting from a rescue organization. We understand the desire to meet our "cuties" as soon as possible, but because we operate entirely out of foster homes, we need to limit visitation to approved applicants only. Once your completed application is submitted by you and approved by MASR, we will be glad to schedule your visit. This dog has been examined by our vet, spayed or neutered (if not previously done), vaccinations updated, heartworm negative, and has been microchipped. Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' given by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. NO guarantees are implied. Dogs benefit greatly from Obedience Training - and we encourage you to check out http://www.pupsdogobediencetraining.com/ . They offer a great discount for training of dogs coming from MAS Rescue! Please note that small breeds are not well designed for families with young children as everything about them is more delicate and will require careful handling. Remember adoption is a commitment for the lifetime of your new furry friend; dogs could live 15 years or more!!
