Pearl has been a caring and adoring Mom to many puppies in her young life. The commercial breeder that owned Pearl did let her go and gave her a chance at being a cherished member of a deserving family. At this point in her life, she will be sterilized and her puppy-making days will be behind her. Pearl is a beautiful and charming Bichon Frisee. She is extremely bashful but with patience and time she will overcome her shyness. Obedience training classes that use positive reinforcement could help boost Pearl’s confidence. As with all dogs that have lived in a kennel environment for their entire life, she may need some work on toilet training. At five she is beyond the silly adolescent stage but is young enough to enjoy lots of long walks and play time. She is discovering that there is more to life than having puppies. She gets along well with other dogs and would do well with a quiet, canine companion who could show her the ropes. Like many Bichons, Pearl is quick to sound the alarm; therefore, condo or apartment living would not be recommended. She is eager to put one paw in front of the other and start her new life as a valued family member. Would you consider giving Pearl her first real home?
