My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LEASE NOTE THAT BREED, AGE, AND SIZE AT MATURITY ARE ONLY GUESSES!

If you are seeing this dog on this site he is available so there is no need to email for availability. Instructions for meeting this dog are provided below.

Meet Lucy. she is about 12 weeks old as of March 21st and weighs about 20 pounds. We are guessing she will be AROUND 60 pounds as an adult given her current age and weight. She is currently being fostered in a home with other dogs who she is wonderful with. We don't know about cats as the foster doesn't have any. Lucy is very smart and learns quickly. She loves too cuddle and loves to play! She is not house trained yet.

She is a sweet pup that was brought to us from a high kill shelter where she had no future. Looking at her adorable face and seeing her personality, it's hard to imagine how such a wonderful dog could end up alone and unwanted on death row. Lucky for her, we saw her face, knew her loving potential and saved her so he could meet a wonderful family deserving of her love. She would be the perfect pet to add to any family - with or without children.

The foster home in Montgomery is where you would go to meet this puppy with an approved application. You can find the canine adoption application at our website at angelsonwheels.org which is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet.

The adoption fee of $300.00 includes: The spaying when old enough, microchipped, up-to-date on routine vaccination for distemper-adenovirus-parainfluenze-parvo, dewormed with panacur, treated revolution.

You will also receive a free office visit to either Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park, Woodridge Animal Hospital, Springbrook Animal Care, Elmhurst Animal Hospital or Naperville Animal Hospital, and also a coupon booklet for Petco.
