Reese's Story...
Reeses is a collie/ shepherd mix pup. He is about 3-4 months old. Reeses is such a sweet dog. He is a friend to every foster dog and always is so well behaved. He has the softest hair that is like a package of white cotton balls. His coat coloring is just stunning. One of the most beautiful dogs we have seen. Reeses is working on his potty skills in his foster home and he is ready for his real HOME.

Reeses' adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation.

Our primary source of funding comes from our adoption fee. This fee allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reese, a Stamford Collie/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Stamford, or seeking a Collie/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Stamford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stamford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stamford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stamford paves the way for another one to be saved.
