IDGSR WELCOMES SMOKEY INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!
Smokey was another youngster who found himself orphaned and in a kill shelter.
IDGSR stepped up to pull this kid out of our local animal control before he either got sick or euthanized. Yes, puppies and young dogs purebreds and mixes get euthanized at alarming rates in the south.
Smokey is a typical Shepherd youngster who will need additional training and
patience from a loving family. He is being fostered in a home with kids, cats and other dogs and is doing very well.
Smokey is approx. 8 months to 12 months old. He is a very sweet boy
who will make a great family member.

Each dog's adoption donation varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (BABY)
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (ADULT)
$150 for dogs over 7 (SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing & monthly preventative and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
