My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shy male, 8 years old, $175 adoption fee

Kenjin is shy with new people and needs some time to warm up, but will seek out affection once comfortable with you. He can be easily started by loud noises and gets nervous in new environments, but is slowly getting better with more exposure. He only has three remaining teeth, but this doesn’t stop him from enjoying his kibble.

Kenjin does great with other dogs and cats, but small humans are probably too much for him. He would do best in a home with at least one other, well-socialized dog to show him the ropes. Kenjin has learned that toys are pretty fun and is starting to play more and more.

Kenjin is potty trained and is good on leash, especially on his familiar route. He really likes his walks and eagerly lines up to get his harness and go with his foster siblings. He prefers sleeping on a sofa, to the crate, but will go into his crate when asked and is quiet.

Kenjin’s adoption fee is $175 which includes his neuter, dental, vaccinations and microchip. Though he does not come with a 6 week professional training course included in his adoption fee, Kenjin might really benefit from a Shy Dog class, such as the one offered at the Zoom Room in Denver and Longmont.
