Cooper's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cooper's Story...
This little guy traveled all the way from Louisiana. He is a 7 mo old Boxer/Britt mix. He is house trained and crate trained. He loves to play and is super sweet. He has an undersized right eyeball, leaving him half blind. He has adapted well and the LA vet has deemed it a cosmetic detail. He gets a long with dogs, cats and humans young and old.

The Empty Shelter Project operates as a foster-based animal rescue. We do not have an actual facility for viewing dogs but potential adopters are welcome to meet dogs at our adoption events at PetValu every Sunday from 11-3. If you see a specific pet you would like to meet, please contact us in advance to make sure they will be at the event. PetValu is located at 10079 Market Circle Dr, Manassas VA 20110.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Manassas Boxer/Brittany dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Brittany for sale in Manassas, or seeking a Boxer/Brittany dog from a breeder in Manassas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manassas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manassas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Brittany breeders who help with Boxer/Brittany rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manassas paves the way for another one to be saved.
