Daphne's Story...
Min Pin Mix 1 1/2 years old

When we rescued Daphne we were told by the shelter that she was so scared she hide under her bed and would not look at anyone. One of our volunteers saw her and asked to foster her. It appears that she didn't have a very good beginning ... she is undersocialized and was probably abused. She's initially timid but, after a few minutes, she bonds very tightly and wants to be with her 'special person'. Within a short time of getting into her foster home, she had decided that her foster parents were her favorite people. She and her foster sibling (a vivacious and adorable boston terrier) have become fast friends. Since we just rescued her, we are still learning about her personality, so it may be a little bit before she is available for adoption. We will update her bio once we get to know her better!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne, a Indianapolis Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
