Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome guy was found abandoned on a back country road. He was thin, scared and covered in ticks but he seemed relieved when I picked him up and put him in the car. He immediately found the dog food I keep in the Jeep and made friends with the other dog I had just rescued. We estimate he is about 2 years old. He is now safe in a foster home and loves all the other dogs and doesn't seem to bother the cats. In the house he is quiet and well behaved and is now house trained. My friend says we should call him Barney Miller because he's like a detective looking for clues when we are outside. I'm certain we can find Miller a great forever home where he will quickly learn what his life was always supposed to be like.
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $75 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. MA residents are no longer allowed to adopt from our adoption center or our adoption events due to MA regs. All MA adoptions must be finalized prior to the puppy leaving our care in TN.
