Melody's Story...
Melody
Female
Terrier Mix
DOB: 2/24/12
Weight: 12 Pounds

Melody is lively, friendly, curious, and loves to play outside. To show her joy, she will run very fast in big circles. She is smart and would be easy to train for such things as agility games. She is housetrained with a doggie door and walks well on a leash.

Melody is friendly with other dogs, but we are not sure about cats. She enjoys the company of men and women, but is somewhat reserved at first with children.

Melody has a very sweet personality and once she feels safe and secure she will be a wonderful companion who will enjoy lots of play time and going on walks with her owner. She will probably do best in a quiet environment with adults only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Melody, a Mountain Center Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Mountain Center, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Mountain Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
