My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi meet Lucy .and this is what her owners had to say...Lucy is a plott hound/dutch shepherd mix, about 3 1/2 years old, and it about 65 lbs. She has lots of energy as she still has that puppy in her, but needs a fenced in area to run in, as she hasn't been the best with being off-leash.

We believe she suffers from separation anxiety, as she hates when one of us leaves the house, she whimpers and whines and almost becomes a bit nervous until everyone is back in the house safe and sound.bur is fine and not destructive while we are out..
In terms of why we are looking for a new home for Lucy is because she hasn't seemed to adapt well to having little kids in the house. She was fine with our son as a baby, but as soon as he has been able to walk and now venture throughout the house, she has become easily aggravated and annoyed by him. There are times when she is good with him, but more than often, she growls at him as he comes close to her, which we are not comfortable with. She also seems to act out a bit when we are playing with him, as maybe she feels left out, so she tries to come and stand between either my husband or myself, and our son, which we really don't like. There have been several occasions where she has shown us that she isn't trust-worthy around young children.

We believe she is in need of a family with either older kids or no kids, as well as with a family who is able to give her more attention and exercise than we have been able to give. It breaks our hearts as we know she is a good dog, but we also know it isn't fair to her to not receive the attention she deserves.this family has done alot for this girl with no luck..So we are looking to hope to fined her a different home ..she is fully vetted very clean and looking for you..
