Buzz's Story...
Meet Buzz! Buzz was surrendered to our shelter after living in a backyard for years. Buzz is about 5-6 years old and in great health! Buzz is a super lovable boy. He loves to give kisses and he LOVES children. He's very laid back and calm. He's a great cuddle buddy! Buzz also has a very distinct color, pastel yellow stripes like a bumblebee ... hence his name! Buzz gets along well with other animals. After struggling his whole life in the streets, Buzz just really wants a nice, warm, home to rest peacefully. In return for your love, Buzz will provide you with a lifelong friendship and plenty of kitty kisses.

We Spay/Neuter all of our cats and they receive the necessary medical care including Rabies, Three Distemper vaccines, De-worming, De-fleaing, Microchipping, and Testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Care for Animals is located at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during hospital hours. Our hours are Monday 8-7, Tuesday — Thursday 8-5 and Friday 9-3. We’re also happy to set up weekend appointments.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buzz, a Warwick Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warwick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
