Buster 2's Story...
Buster 2 came to rescue along with Ponch and Rockie. Their elderly owner was sent to an extended care facility and the social worker involved contacted us regarding these little boys in need. We were told that the dogs were not allowed in the house and lived outside all year long. We took all three and have spent much time socializing them all. Ponch and Buster 2 have done the best of the three. Buster is still quite timid but we think that he'll blossom in his own home. When we bathe him, in the kitchen sink, he is a very good boy, allowing us to suds him up and rinse him well with no protest at all. For that, he gets a treat. Buster uses wee wee pads and the doggie door. He might do better with well adjusted dog in the home to model 'normal' behavior to him. I don't think he would be a very satisfactory pet for children at this time. He has a very beautiful chocolate and white long coat. We think that Buster 2 is only about 2 or 3 years. He weighs 12 pounds. Buster 2 is neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative, is microchipped and has had a dental cleaning. Buster's adoption fee is $200 with all vet work done.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster 2, a House Springs Chihuahua/Tibetan Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Tibetan Spaniel for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua/Tibetan Spaniel dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Tibetan Spaniel breeders who help with Chihuahua/Tibetan Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
