My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bruno is a handsome, approximately 3 year old black and tan German shepherd dog. He weighs about 70 pounds and needs to put on a few more pounds.

Bruno is housetrained and crate trained. He gets along with other dogs and is fine with cats. He likes to ride in the car and loves to go with when you run errands.

Bruno was temporarily fostered by someone at the shelter in eastern Idaho and she told us he slept quietly next to her bed at night. This nice lady is the one that named him Bruno.

Bruno is fine in a 4 foot high fence. He doesn't dig or try to escape and doesn't bark excessively...although he would rather be with you wherever you are.

This dog comes to us from a shelter in eastern Idaho where he was turned in as a stray. He is a little insecure and seeks to be with his people whenever possible. He is timid at first with new people, but gaining confidence every day. It takes a little while to earn his trust and he does not like to be grabbed by the collar.

Even though Bruno knows how to 'sit', It would greatly benefit him (and his new human) to attend a basic obedience class. Bruno likes to work for treats, but doesn't appear to be interested in toys yet.

When his foster mom is asked to describe Bruno she says the words Faithful Companion come to mind.

Bruno's adoption fee is $150 and includes neuter, vaccinations, microchip, collar and ID tag.

If you are interested in possibly adopting Bruno, please email us for an adoption application today.
Upon approval and home visit, adopters will be asked to sign a contract and pay an adoption fee (which covers the cost of spay/neuter, vaccinations and other necessities).
