Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Junebug is a really special young girl (between 6-8 months most likely). She was brought to the city pound during the polar vortex. Everyone thought she was dead. Her body was frozen and broken, possibly hit by a car. She was obviously in pain and very scared. We decided that she needed a chance, so we rescued her. With time, medical care, and love, she has blossomed. Her tail and ear had to be amputated from the horrible frostbite, but her legs have bounced back, and she has warmed up to people. She is very, very shy at first, but she purrs like crazy once she feels safe and loved. She has been through so much, and she looks so unique with her bobtail (like a manx) and cropped ear. She has a lot of love to give.
Junebug's adoption fee of $95 includes her spay, surgeries for her frostbite, virus testing, deworming, shots, and microchip and registration. She would do best in a home with another cat (possibly with Sparkle, her kitten best friend).
To meet Junebug, please email carfforanimals@gmail.com. She is a special girl.
