Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***Update - Everett was recently diagnosed with heartworm disease. He has a good prognosis and is already on the road to recovery. While he is able to be adopted, Everett would need his new family to help him through the treatment and recovery process. The Rescue Inn will cover the cost of all medical expenses, but he would have strict activity requirements that must be followed. It's the only way to make sure he can be a happy, healthy boy once again. Everett hopes that someone can look past these "special needs" and give him a forever home!
Meet Everett! This charming Sheltie mix is looking for his new forever home. He is around 4 years old, only 20 lbs and just a wonderful boy. While Everett can be quite the energetic young man, he is also very sweet and affectionate -- he loves to plop on your lap and get a good rub. Everett is a great little dog with a big dog personality and a great big heart.
Everett is a perfect age –past all of the pesky puppy behaviors but still with plenty of energy for playing and exploring the world on walks. He loves people and other dogs too – he thrives in doggie day care! In fact, he would do best in a home where he has a canine sibling or two who can keep him company and be his playmate. One last detail about our boy…this guy is a bit of an escape artist and tries to sneak out of any open door. He just wants to explore so badly! As a result, he will need a home with a securely fenced yard and someone who will be attentive to his door-darting desires. Most of all, Everett needs a family who will give him the love that he so deserves. In return, he promises to be a loyal companion for years to come.
If you’re looking for a charming dog to make your family complete, contact Everett’s adoption consultant, Debby at 440-364-1286 or djg4517@gmail.com for more information. Everett can’t wait to meet his forever family!
